Prior to Voyajoy Mark and his long-time buddy Tommy purchased an investment home in 2014 and were looking for ways to make the most out of their investment. They were considering renting out their apartments long-term, but they noticed that the demand for short-term rentals in San Francisco was high. Millions of travelers come visit San Francisco each year and are always looking for places to stay for a few days. They and a few family members decided to try renting it out on Airbnb for a while.

Reason for engagement They realized after a few months that while it was generating more return than renting it out long-term, it wasn’t easy to manage and keep the quality high, especially when they both had full time jobs and family. They needed a way to maximize their investment while finding the time to spend with their families.
